Livestock & Farming Classes

Livestock Entries

Beef Cattle and Sheep classes, including those for Rare and Minority breeds, are available. There are also classes for Traditional and Modern Pig breeds and Camelids, plus Junior Stockmanship and Hand Reared Lambs.

Farming Competitions

On-farm classes exist for Leys, Dairy Herds, Conservation, Beef Herds, Standing Corn, Break Crops, Best Farmed Farms, Maize, Silage Clamps & Long Service. Entry deadlines vary by class.

Ploughing Match

We very much regret that the 2007 Ploughing Match had to be cancelled, but we plan to run our usual annual Ploughing Match in September 2008 at Whipley Manor, Bramley.

How to Enter

First print and read the Livestock Schedule, then print the relevant entry forms/s, using landscape format, complete and send them to the Secretary, along with the appropriate fee/s
